Digging in at the University of Arkansas

The Construction Sign designed by Todd Furgason of the University of Arkansas Facilities Management Planning Group proudly announces the initiation of excavation and site work for the forthcoming Hillside Auditorium at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

Demarcation of the location for the new Hillside Auditorium, designed by Perry Dean in collaboration with lead architects Allison Architects of Little Rock/Fayetteville, Arkansas.  This new building will contain 2 auditoria (475 seats and 290 seats) and replaces both the Science Engineering Auditorium and the Geology building in an attempt to restore landscape back to the site adjacent to the Chi Omega Greek Theatre, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

A recent photo sent from Allison Architects demonstrating the project underway.  We are all very excited about the progress at hand.  Stay tuned for further updates.
