Perry Dean selected for Library Master Plan at Florida State University

Perry Dean, teaming with local partners Architects: Lewis+Whitock have been selected for the Library Master Plan Study at Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL. The focus and parameters of study include a comprehensive assessment, analysis and holistic review the University’s entire Library System which includes the Strozier and Dirac (Science) Libraries and remote storage facilities, as well as a review of the college libraries of Law, Medicine, Communications-Information and Music for opportunities of synergy. The study will recommend the best location of academic support services that serve the various graduate and undergraduate communities, the best distribution of collections (in the various libraries and in remote high density storage), and the best location for staff to support the collections, faculty and students.
