Perry Dean awarded Hillside Auditorium project at the University of Arkansas

Perry Dean was selected as a programming and design consultant to Allison Architects for a new building at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The Hillside Auditorium Building will include two instructional auditoria, ranging in size from 200 to 350 students, along with instructional lab space. The building will occupy a key site alongside the historic Greek Amphitheater, with a 25 foot grade change from top to bottom. The grade change and site offer an opportunity for a green roof, and Olin will play an important role in the project as landscape architect. Dickson Street, a main artery through campus, connecting to downtown Fayetteville, frames the south edge of the site.

The site for the project is identified in the aerial image below (from the project RFP).
