Construction begins at St. George's School

Last week we broke ground for construction at St. George’s School in Middletown, Rhode Island.  The project is an addition and renovation to the Nathaniel P. Hill Library, with targeted completion of summer 2011.

The kick-off meeting on October 29th was facilitated by Shawmut Construction and was attended by Perry Dean, various consultants, the town’s building inspector & fire marshal, and representatives of the school.  St George’s Headmaster Eric Peterson and Assistant Head of School Pat Moss each gave a few words expressing the importance of the library to the life of the school, and thanking the team for their dedication thus far.  The project has a LEED Gold target.
